Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (also known as GCET) is a self-financed engineering college, situated in Greater Noida, NCR, India. The institute is affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University, Noida and the students are admitted on the basis of State Entrance Examination - UPTU (commonly known as UPSEE). The college was earlier affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University until year 2010, when the university was bifurcated and the institute came under the jurisdiction of the current university.

Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, (MMMEC), is a state funded autonomous engineering institute located in the city of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 1962, Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College is counted as one of the best institutions of its kind in the state. The college has been awarded with the U.P.T.U Academic Excellence Award for the past two years and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). With state of the art infrastructure and highly experienced faculty the college attracts the top 1% of the students taking Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exams (UPSEE) for its UG and PG courses. Till Now, forty five batch of students have entered its portal and are earning name for themselves and MALVIYA. The college is affiliated to Gautam Buddha Technical University, Lucknow from 2000.It has been granted the status of 'an autonomous institute' by UGC in the year 2011.

The Institute of Engineering and Technology Lucknow (IET ) is a state government-funded engineering college in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a constituent college of Gautam Buddh Technical University (erstwhile Uttar Pradesh Technical University).

Harcourt Butler Technological Institute :: Opening & Closing Ranks - UPSEE 2011 ::

Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur  is an academic autonomous engineering college under the Gautam Buddha Technical University(formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University). Its programs have been conferred autonomous status under the university. It is the second engineering institute in Uttar Pradesh after the former University of Roorkee. The institute holds ISO 9001:2000 Certification. It offers Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees in engineering, as well as Masters degrees in Business administration and Computer Applications.

In 1959, when the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur was established, IIT classes were held in the canteen building of HBTI until IITK had its own campus.
HBTI is also the mother institute of the National Sugar Institute, the Government Central Textile Institute and the Glass Institute.
